Food
The Landings restaurant is located just south of tower. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with a view out onto the ramp where passenger board/deplane JSX and American Airlines. You’ll find both locals and visiting pilots enjoying the view and the food. The meu consist of elevated items like Thai Calamari Salad while offering refined classics like patty melts and BLTs. Enjoy like music in the evenings and a mimosa brunch on Sundays. This is one of our favorites!
FBO
Atlantic Aviation and Carlsbad Jet Center are the two FBOs on field at KCRQ. This trip we visited Carlsbad Jet Center and were wowed by their customer service - friendly, personable and warm. They have a beautiful FBO with plenty of comfy seating and places to hang out. Coffee, soda and water are plentiful along with good snacks. There is a Conference Room and an open Pilot's Lounge area. We did not see a Flight Planning Room or Quiet Rooms. Crew cars with a time limit and full-service fuel are available here.
