Join us as we fly out Piper Arrow into Castle Airport (KMER) in Atwater, California to visit the Castle Air Museum – one of the largest military aviation collections in the United States. Located at the former Castle Air Force Base, this museum houses rare aircraft you won't find anywhere else, including the Avro Vulcan, B-36 Peacemaker, SR-71 Blackbird, and EC-121.
Despite its low reviews, we discovered why Castle Air Museum is worth the visit for any aviation enthusiast. Join us as we explore inside the VC-9, peek into the bomb bay of the massive Convair B-36 Peacemaker (one of the largest bombers ever built), and walk among dozens of historic aircraft.
We also checked out the brand new KT Aero FBO and got shuttled over to the museum – making Castle Airport an easy and pilot-friendly destination.
