Few airports surprise us like Ramona (KRNM)! Nestled in the hills of San Diego County, this unassuming field has a wild past — from WWII bombing practice and drag racing to becoming Cal Fire’s oldest Air Attack Base and home to one of two rotorcraft museums in the U.S.
Fly with us in our Piper Arrow as we land on Runway 27, explore the Classic Rotors Museum, and get a surprise tower tour.
